Les Schwab Tires Supports the NWTF

The Idaho Chapters of the National Wild Turkey Federation requested that Les Schwab Tire Center in the State of Idaho continue their great support for the conservation of the wild turkey and other wildlife and the preservation of the hunting tradition.  Les Schwab responded by donating eighteen Weatherby Vanguard, blue barrel, synthetic stock, 30-06 caliber rifles at a total cost of $6487.20 to the eighteen local NWTF Chapters.
Each local chapter will reciprocate by providing two dinner tickets for Les Schwab personnel to their fund raising banquet, a reserved table for Les Schwab personnel at the banquet, a one-half page advertisement in their banquet program or some other visible advertisement at the banquet, a Les Schwab banner (provided by their local store) placed with the donated Weatherby Vanguard rifle, a Les Schwab advertisement in Idaho Chapters NWTF State Newsletter, FLYDOWN, that is published three to four times a year, and an advertisement on the Idaho NWTF website.

The Idaho Chapters of the National Wild Turkey Federation and local NWTF chapters thanks Les Schwab for their great, continued support in our fund raising effort for conservation.  Please help us thank Les Schwab Tire Centers by supporting their generous company

Todd Hanson competed in the 2006 National Wild Turkey Federation’s Grand National Decorative Duck & Goose Call Competition during the 30th annual Convention and Sport Show in Nashville, Tenn., February 23 to February 26.  Todd was one of 52 individuals competing with 100 calls in several categories.  Those who attended the convention were truly impressed with the call makers entries and the talent displayed.
He entered four outstanding duck calls and he received two 1st places, a 2nd and a 3rd; one in Open Call, one in Laminated, one in Traditional Carved, and one in the Miniature Call division.  All of these calls were then auctioned off at the convention, helping to raise thousands of dollars for conservation.  This brings Todd to a total of 12 national awards in the Duck and the Turkey Call Competitions with the NWTF.  We appreciate Todd’s continuing support of the NWTF and look forward to seeing his work again in future shows.
